about

Leryn graduated from Florida State University’s Musical Theatre program and moved to Chicago, where she made a living performing in over 14 Equity productions in six years. As half of the jazz duo Treble on the L, she also gigged around town with music partner Aaron Davidson.

The pandemic was her opportunity to get a long-awaited Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy with a concentration in Contemporary Commercial Music. Since then, she and her husband Paul-Jordan Jansen (Sweeney Todd, B’way) have moved to NYC where she now teaches voice lessons to a full studio of actors, singers, and dancers and continues auditioning.

Roles that challenge expectations, inspire curiosity, and using her voice in daring and unexpected ways are her happy places. In her free time, she’s probably spending time outdoors with Jordan, listening to French language-learning podcasts, or cuddling with her cats and a book.
